Car Three Way Catalytic Converter is responsible for cleaning the exhaust gases of harmful compounds produced by the combustion of the fuel-air mixture.  It usually occurs just after the turbocharger in the case of turbocharged cars and directly after the exhaust manifold in the case of naturally aspirated cars.  The location of the Catalytic Converter is not accidental, because the higher the temperature of the exhaust gas, the greater the effectiveness of the catalytic converter.

 

We offer catalytic converters with either a ceramic or metal core.

 

Exhaust Pipe Catalytic Converter with ceramic inserts are usually found originally in catalytic converters installed in series in factories, but sometimes there are also metal inserts, although very rarely.  Ceramic inserts are less resistant to the higher combustion temperatures that occur in cars with a gas system installed.  Manufacturers usually do not even give a warranty when installing such a catalytic converter for this type of car.  There are also catalytic converters with a metal insert ( core ).  These can confidently be used in cars with gas installation installed, and those with increased capacity also with a metal insert are great for tuning.  Most of the catalytic converters in our offer have metal inserts.
