Automotive Catalytic Converter is a kind of engine external purification, which can purify carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC), hydrocarbons (HC) and nitrogen oxides (NO) emitted by automobiles.   Auto catalytic converter which can only purify CO and HC is oxidizing Car Catalytic Converter.

The car catalytic converter that can purify the environmental pollution of CO, HC and NO is a Universal Three Way Catalytic Converter.

The outer part of the xhaust Catalytic Converter is a stainless steel shell, and the inner part is a catalyst carrier.       The catalyst support can be divided into pear-shaped support, metal support or granular support made of cordierite (Figure 1). The carrier is coated with catalyst.   Performance catalytic converter used in the three-way catalytic converter are generally balanced metal platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd), rhodium (Rh), and add alkali metal oxides as auxiliaries, in order to improve the stability of the catalyst, and add soil oxides lanthanum (La), cerium (Ce), etc. (Figure 2).

Direct fit catalytic converter uses the residual oxygen and exhaust temperature in the exhaust gas to carry out REDOX reaction on the surface of the catalyst, so that harmful substances CO, HC and NO become harmless substances, thereby reducing environmental pollution and improving atmospheric quality.
